Need Some Furniture Restored?

Save the beautiful! It's one of my catch cries. Sometimes what you have might be a little old and tired but when it's far more beautiful than anything you'll find at the local store it's time to save it. This beautiful cast iron garden furniture was old, beautiful and wonderfully sculptural, only the wood was letting it down. So with a careful hand and a lot of TLC I managed to restore it so that it once again became a fantastic use-able set of furniture that will survive for another generation. If you are in Melbourne and have a problem that needs solving give me a bell, I love resurrecting beauty.

Need A Logo Designed?

Off-Piste in Japan in a nutshell. That's what a good logo needs to be for Free Ride Niseko KHV. A new snowboarding holiday company that needed a logo designed to help promote their business. The freeform flowing lines represent the joys of snowboarding without limits and the rest is crystal clear. Like any good logo. Need to capture the idea of snowboarding in Japan? I can help. Recently a company that runs snowboarding trips to Japan needed a new logo and a t-shirt designed to help promote their business. The image above was used for the t-shirt and perfectly captures the quiet elegance of the Japanese experience whilst at the same time demonstrating that fun is to be had. This appeared on the front of the t-shirt whilst the logo I designed (to follow in next post) appears on the back. If you ever need an idea, give me a bell. Need A Tree In Your Store?

Trees painted? Of course! No problem. The Body Shop recently needed a tree painted on their feature wall and some shelves incorporated to display some of their amazing products. The big boss was coming over from the UK to view the store and it needed to be done ASAP. So through the night I worked with my lovely assistant Polly;) and voila! One beautiful tree. Need A 100 Year Old Lock Repaired?

Sure you could have called a locksmith! But they'd just charge you a fortune to come take a look and then replace your lovely old period perfect lock in your period perfect home with some shiny new horrible modern replacement from China. Whereas I can take that old lock apart, investigate what the problem is and repair it. So, not only do save yourself haveing to buy a new lock, you also don't have to mangle your nice old door to make it fit. Plus you keep the original character of the door intact. I love fixing old things:) They're usually far more durable and better made than modern versions too. So if you need help saving anything at all, give me a bell.

Need Some Cute Shelves Made For Your Restaurant?

The lovely brothers at Teta Mona Restaurant were stuck. The needed some small shelves to go above the outside tables on which to sit 2 glasses and a water jug, thereby freeing up space on the smaller table for delicious plates of yummy Lebanese goodness. No problem I thought. Some simple curly black brackets suit their aesthetic and some nicely stained pine helped them fit right in. If you're ever on Lygon Street, check out Teta Mona, they're delicious. And if you ever need a space saving solution, give me a bell.

Need Some Giant Wooden Giraffes Made?

The Melbourne Zoo needed someone handy recently. They were building a series of large scale wooden animals to display around the zoo and needed some help to get them finished on time. It was a pleasure to lend a hand and get creative with colour and shape. If you need any large scale animals built or any other job why not give me a bell as I'm sure I'll be able to help you.
